THE UNSEEN

Life isn't life without hardships. Sometimes in the smooth road, there's always a bump so we have to beware of how we drive. 

The unseen is about unexpected occurrences in the life of certain people.

Mum! I yelled

What happened to you? Why are you groaning in so much pain?

Somebody help me, I screamed.

What happened to your mother? One of my neighbors asked.

I don’t know ma. I just came back from school and met her groaning in pain. I replied.

One of my neighbors whose car was available took my mother to the hospital, she got treated and some drugs was prescribed to relieve the pain.

Have you called your father? One of my neighbors asked.

No, I replied.

Hmm! I guess her father is the reason for the pain her mother is going through now, one of my neighbors said. A tear dropped from my eyes but I stopped it from overflowing to avoid some stupid sympathies.

My neighbors declared they’re leaving after helping to clear the hospital bills, I showed them my gratitude and they left immediately.

 

My name is Jade. I’m from a family of three, just my mum, dad, and I. This is what I went through while growing up. I sometime question what it means to have a family because it doesn't seem real to me. Whenever things seem to be going smoothly, something goes wrong.
